On-Call Controller Services

Year End 1099 Reporting

There are stiff penalties for failing to report “non-employee compensation” to your independent contractors. Also, don’t forget your landlord and attorney. They need a 1099 at the end of the year as well. QuickBooks® is a powerful tool for getting these reports completed in a timely manner, if your set-up is correct and you know what to do at the end of the year. I serve many clients on a once-a-year basis for this one service alone. Get this wrong and the financial consequences can be severe.
